About Me

Fitness Weight LossAbout Fancyfitnic

I am an entrepreneur, business woman, fitness spokes model and have worked in Sales for over thirteen years. I’ve always had a passion for health and fitness, as well as, being an athlete almost all my life. Growing up, I was super competitive and I tried a number of sports. I played soccer and basketball and I tried track and volleyball. Basically, any sport where I felt like my height would be an advantage since I was the “Tall Girl” in a small New Mexican town. I was “okay” at most of those, but I finally found my niche in college when I began boxing and taking classes in the fundamentals of weight training. I learned that there was so much more to these fields than just lifting weights and punching people, it took skill, talent, and discipline, and I had it. And, I was pretty good at it.

I continued training in both of these areas and then life happened. I graduated college, began my career and got in a huge slump of working myself to death. I was in the managerial sales field and stressed out. I would work twelve hour days and then go to happy hour with the rest of my stressed out co-workers. It was a recipe for disaster and my body and health were paying the price. After gaining weight and being the heaviest I had ever been, 180 lbs. I decided to get back to what I loved, working out and boxing. Since I can’t do anything mediocre, I signed up for a weight loss challenge at a local gym that included boxing and kickboxing. Soon after winning the first challenge, I began amateur boxing. As if that wasn’t enough, I decided to not only fight competitively, but begin training for my first Fitness Competition.

Initially, I lost roughly twenty lbs. in about eight weeks and then went on to continue the journey and lost  a total of forty lbs. over the course of a year. I was proud of the lifestyle changes I had made and I was so motivated by the people who I was inspiring. So many people reached out with questions, seeking advice on how they too could lose weight, do a competition or begin boxing. That was the rewarding part, being able to inspire others and help them reach their goals.

Meanwhile, I met my husband, who is a Professional MMA fighter and was my Coach and trainer at the time. We went on to start our fitness business, Ripped Quick, where we were able to both utilize our knowledge and skills in the industry to help other people meet their weight loss goals by providing them with specialized meal plans specific to their body and hormones, fitness and boxing classes, fitness challenges and preparation for fitness competitions. My husband, also being the skilled man he is, began his J.Lanier Hybrid Jiu Jitsu programs for adults and youth where he is able to spread his passion for Jiu-Jitsu, MMA  and coaching. Last year, we finally launched our first supplements product, Ripped Quick Lean Out, which is a natural fat burner and will be expanding our products this year.

I wanted to start this website to really share all my recipes and my passion for health, fitness and fighting. If I can inspire just one person to reach a goal, better themselves, and be healthier, then it is all worth it!
