No Added Sugar Zoodles with Chicken Sausage Marinara
Ingredients:
1 serving
- 1-2 zucchinis
- Bilinski’s Spinach & Garlic Chicken Sausage (1-2 links) All natural ingredients, contains no sugar or soy. I found these at Kroger.
- 1 8oz can no sodium tomato sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Mrs. Dash garlic & herb seasoning
- 1 tsp black pepper
- Add in some fresh basil if you like
Directions:
- Spiralize zucchini (cut the Zoodles so they aren’t so long)
- Slice sausage links in 1/4 to 1/2 inch slices and add to medium skillet sprayed with Coconut Oil cooking spray.
- Cook sausage on medium high heat for 3-5 minutes and then add tomato sauce.
- Stir in garlic powder, Mrs. Dash, pepper, and any other seasoning.
- You can either add the Zoodles in to the sauce or quickly boil or pan fry according to directions on the Veggetti. I prefer mine to be a little firmer and raw, so I like to just rinse under some warm water and then place on the plate. The sauce also assists in the cooking process once added. And, the zucchini does not have to be cooked.
